FluxTime Features
Apple-ecosystem interstitial journaling, time tracking, tasks, energy analytics, and TimeGPT / UCEVI prioritization — on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch.
Interstitial journaling
FluxTime logs a day the way interstitial journaling is meant to work: a timestamp and a short note at each natural seam, not a running timer you have to remember to stop. Close the last block, name the first action of the next one, and duration appears later as the difference between two stamps.
That is a different logging model from start/stop trackers or background auto-track. You author the record, but only when context actually changes. Tasks, events, and reminders land on the same timeline so the journal is also the plan.

Vision, Today, Diary, Review
- Vision View — Goals → projects → todos, top-down planning.
- Today View — Day plan with smart scheduling into open slots.
- Diary View — Real time-flow of how minutes were spent, from timestamp diffs.
- Review View — Progress charts, energy curves, heatmaps, and reflection.
The four views keep a pile of check-ins from becoming noise: Vision holds intent, Today holds the plan, Diary holds what happened, Review shows the pattern. Chinese handbook: FluxTime 核心概念手册.
Energy tracking
Hours measure duration. Energy measures whether those hours can hold deep work. FluxTime tracks both from the same diary: categories such as Core Work, Daily Life, Self-Improvement, Health, Relationships, and Rest become a day-length energy picture.
The TimeGPT essay documents the derivation: split a day into five-minute slots, mark high-energy segments from how you actually spent them, then average those vectors so high-focus tasks can be placed in high-energy windows. Review heatmaps are the readable version of that signal.
Practical audit: How to track energy, not just time.
TimeGPT and UCEVI
FluxTime’s TimeGPT is a scheduler for time, energy, and tasks — not Nixtla’s time-series foundation model of the same name. UCEVI (Urgent, Cost, Effort, Value, Impact) scores what is worth doing; energy ranking answers when to do it. Together they fill open slots without an endless “what next?” loop.

Apple Watch, Calendar, and widgets
FluxTime is built for the Apple stack: iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. The Watch app is a journal surface — templates and quick logging — not a wrist stopwatch. A check-in from the watch is the same interstitial entry as on iPhone: timestamp, close, next action, optional energy context.
- Apple Watch — templates and quick logging so a commute or a walk still enters the diary.
- Apple Calendar — events and the FluxTime plan in one day view (Calendar integration is a Flux Pro capability; see pricing).
- Home Screen and macOS widgets — glanceable progress, energy trend, and goal activity (Pro widgets on the pricing page).
