FluxTime Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: November 4, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FluxTime apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, the FluxTime web app at fluxtime.io, cloud sync, Flux AI, connected apps, and related services (together, the "Services"). FluxTime is provided by a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia, ABN 94 983 380 947 ("FluxTime," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law: Our Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. Your Account

  • You need a FluxTime account for cloud sync, Flux Pro, Flux AI and the web app. You must give accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • You must be at least 13 years old, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it, to use the Services. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

2. Free and Pro Features

Many features are free. Flux Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features, such as smart day planning, unlimited Flux AI, advanced insights, Pro widgets and cloud sync. The features included in each plan are described on our pricing page and may change over time; if we remove a significant Pro feature during a period you have paid for, you may ask us for a refund of the unused part of that period.

Free Flux AI use is limited to a daily allowance. "Unlimited" Flux AI for Pro subscribers is subject to reasonable use: we may limit automated, abusive or excessive use that threatens the Services or other users.

3. Flux Pro Subscriptions

Plans and renewal

Flux Pro is offered as a monthly or annual subscription. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel it. One subscription unlocks Flux Pro on every device where you sign in with the same FluxTime account.

Subscriptions bought on the web

  • Subscriptions bought on fluxtime.io are sold through Link, a service of Stripe, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record for the purchase. Link processes your payment, calculates and collects applicable taxes, and issues your receipts and invoices. Link's terms and privacy policy, available at link.com, also apply to the purchase. Your card statement may show "LINK.COM* FLUXTIME".
  • Prices are shown before you pay and include applicable taxes such as GST or VAT where the law requires them to be included. Prices may be shown in your local currency; the amount charged by your card provider may vary with exchange rates and card fees.
  • You can cancel at any time in FluxTime on the web under Settings › General › Flux Pro › Manage, or through Link. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Flux Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • If you switch between monthly and annual billing, the change is applied as described on the subscription management page, which may include a prorated charge or credit.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we may keep Flux Pro active for a short grace period while payment is retried. If payment is not completed, Flux Pro ends.
  • Deleting your FluxTime account cancels any web subscription immediately.

Subscriptions bought through the App Store

Subscriptions bought in the FluxTime app are sold by Apple and governed by Apple's terms. Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds; manage or cancel them in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Deleting your FluxTime account does not cancel an App Store subscription. If you have both an App Store subscription and a web subscription, each is billed separately; cancel the one you do not want.

Refunds

  • Annual subscriptions bought on the web: if you email [email protected] within 14 days of the purchase or of an annual renewal, we will refund that charge in full and end the subscription.
  • Monthly subscriptions bought on the web: payments are not refundable. You can cancel at any time and keep Flux Pro until the end of the month you have paid for.
  • Outside these cases, payments are not refundable except where the law requires it, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and any mandatory consumer law where you live.
  • Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. Your Content

  • You own the goals, tasks, journal entries and other content you create in FluxTime ("Your Content").
  • You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process, sync and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Services to you, including sending it to the AI providers and connected apps you choose to use, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You are responsible for Your Content and for having the right to use it. Keep your own copies of anything important; you can export your data from the app and the web app.

5. Flux AI and Connected Apps

Flux AI and connected apps such as Claude can suggest plans, summarise your data and, if you allow it, make changes for you. Their output can be incomplete or wrong. Check important suggestions before relying on them, and review any change before you confirm it. Connected apps are provided by third parties under their own terms; you can remove their access at any time in Settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services in breach of any law or anyone else's rights;
  • attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or to interfere with, overload, probe or reverse engineer the Services, except where the law allows it;
  • use automated means to access the Services in ways other than through features we provide, such as connected apps you authorise;
  • resell, sublicense or share access to Flux Pro outside your own account;
  • use Flux AI to create unlawful, harmful or abusive content.

7. Availability and Changes

We work to keep the Services available and your data safe, but the Services may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we stop offering Flux Pro altogether, we will give you reasonable notice and refund the unused part of any web subscription you have paid for.

8. Ending Your Use

You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, after notice where reasonable. If we close your account without a breach on your part, we will refund the unused part of any web subscription.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, the Services are provided "as is," and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity arising from your use of the Services. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the Services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Apple

If you use the FluxTime app downloaded from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. These Terms are between you and FluxTime, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the Services or their content.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protections given to you by the mandatory laws of the place where you live.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app, on the website or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Services after the changes take effect, the updated Terms apply.
